ABOUT US / Joyce Sigurnjak

Describe your services

I do a variety of integrated massage techniques combined with therapy to help people with chronic pain, injury and stress relief. I am also one of few massage therapists in this area to do pregnancy massage and Ortho-biotomy—which is a gentle and non-invasive technique.

What are some benefits/results people see?

I've found that Ortho-bionomy helps a person's body to reprogram itself from the inside out. This therapeutic bodywork helps body alignment. Really, I help a person's body reprogram itself and tap into its innate self-healing powers.

Describe a typical session and how someone might prepare for it.

There's never been a typical session! In general, I'd recommend a person coming in for massage be well-hydrated. I'd also recommend you eat a light meal before a session, and do not do any heavy drinking for 48 hours before or after a session.

What makes you different/good at what you do?

Apart from the variety of massage and therapy techniques I do? I have more than 10 years of experience as a massage therapist and my work improves a person's well-being. I am dedicated to continue working and learning everything out there to keep doing this work I love.

Describe your education

I am a licensed massage therapist, trained at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, Arizona with an
Associate Certification in Ortho-bionomy (in progress). I constantly keep ahead of the curve by updating my skills as a professional in the massage therapy field.
