Malina Chin OTR/L, L.Ac.

Malina Chin is the owner and Clinical Director of Vital Points Therapy, an integrative health and wellness center with locations in Libertyville and Gurnee.

Malina received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in 1984 as an Occupational Therapist from the University of Illinois Medical Center. She has over 25 years of experience in a field that is as wide as the human spectrum. Malina has worked with all ages from Neonates to Seniors. She has also worked in a variety of specialties such as Psychology, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Neurology, and Women’s health.

She loves to share her cumulative knowledge of integrative medicine and Classical Chinese medicine. Chinese medicine is a complete integrative system for health and longevity that has been practiced for over 5000 years. Malina’s passion is to inspire people to reach for their goals, release scars, and live life with vitality.
Malina Chin obtained a Bachelor’s in Nutrition and a Master’s of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2005. She graduated Magna Cum Laude after completing an internship at Guangzhou University of Traditional Medicine in China.
She served on the Illinois Association of Acupuncture and Orientation Medicine Board and has been a faculty member of Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. She has written articles for Acupuncture and Occupational Therapy professional publications.
